After graduating from medical school at the University of Cape Town in South Africa, Dr. Poole completed his five years of residency training in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Washington in Seattle. Following residency, he completed an additional Fellowship year at the Scripps Clinic and Research Foundation in San Diego, subspecializing in Total Joint Replacement Surgery.
