For Dr. Murdock joining Intermountain Orthopaedics was a step in pursuit of excellence that started at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in 1984. Upon completion of a medical internship in Cincinnati, Dr. Murdock was invited to participate in clinical research at the University of Utah, and while there finished his surgical residency training. He received his fellowship in hand and microsurgery at the University of New Mexico. Family life is of utmost importance to Dr. Murdock and his wife, Judy. They feel a strong attraction to the mountains and recreational activities in southern Idaho and they are eagerly introducing their three children to the Idaho outdoor lifestyle.
